Once again the party season is upon us and once again come the age old cries of women everywhere, staring at their full-to-bursting wardrobes, screaming "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!". So ladies lets, for a second, pretend that is absolutely true and give ourselves a reason to buy something new for the festive season.
It's the time of the year where our diaries are full of parties and get togethers with friends, colleagues and family, so we need to be prepared with an outfit for every occasion. This is serious, not just an excuse for a massive online shopping splurge (it's far too cold, miserable and mental to brave actual shopping until post January sales).
So here are some looks to get you into the party spirit.

Pearly Snow Queen
This is more of a 2014 take on a formal event. Swap the dress for a maxi skirt and bralet and you have a fresh new take on formal dressing. P.S. pearls make everything classy (maybe not everything...Kim Kardashian).

Crystals and Cristal
Now, there's no better reason than the festive season to crack out the sparkles. It's an excuse to go all out and that's exactly what this look is all about. In the words of the much loved blogger Essie Button; "Why be subtle?". I am not ashamed to say that I love a good novelty accessory at Christmas time and I think that this bag is the cool, socially acceptable, party version.
All That Glitters
Warning! If you are not fond of sequins then look away now. This is definitely the look that I'll be rocking for new year. It's so sparkly and shiny and very party appropriate. However, I think the black stops it from being too OTT...almost. Aldo are knocking it out of the park right now with the party accessories and this bag is awesome. I love a good pair of party heels and Kurt Geiger are the party heel people, the platform on these beauties is pretty big which actually makes them a lot more comfortable and they are just calling out to be danced (badly) in.
