I came across the Stridex Daily Care Acne Pads and thought I would give them a go, for only £8.75 for 90 pads, why not? At first I was a little unsure if they would work well with my sensitive skin, seeing as the ingredient list reads like an inventory of Walter White's lab but I was more than pleasantly surprised. I did my usual cleansing routine and then used the pad all over my face. I was expecting it to smell super chemically but it smelt like walking out of my log cabin into a fresh alpen morning, wrapped up in cashmere, holding a cup of hot cocoa - basically, it smells good.
Now, it does leave my skin feeling pretty tight and a little dry, so moisturising is essential. Due to my skin being pretty dry at the best of times, I only tend to use one pad a day in the evening. Apart from this I have nothing negative to say about this miracle product. I have only been using them just over a week and I have already seen a noticeable difference. The acne I had on my chin, forehead and around my nose has virtually disappeared and no scares were left behind.
They are such great value for money and deliver brilliant results. The question is, will the acne be kept at bay? I'll keep you posted.
