Thanks to the likes of Cara Delevingne and not forgetting the original big brow gal Frida Kahlo, bushy brows are now socially acceptable *shouts with joy*. The trend for big, bold brows is still going strong and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere fast. Now I'm unfortunately cursed with possessing only one eyebrow and it takes some serious maintenance to keep it separated. When the face-scaping is done it's time to tame those mo fo's and for that I have two must have products.
The Sleek Eyebrow Stylist is a double ended weapon which is a great drugstore dupe for the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. It comes with a very handy spooly to brush your brows into shape and on the other end is a very pigmented waxy crayon. Now, if you want bold brows then this will definitely give you them but be careful not to be too heavy handed or it can end up looking rather Helga from Hey Arnold. When the brows are shaped and lightly filled in it's time to stick those suckers in place. For this I use the Maybelline Brow Drama, it brushes out the brows and gives them a natural looking definition and sets them all day without feeling stiff and crispy. I love these products in combo but when I'm having a lazy day i.e. most days, I'll just use the Brow Drama to create some subtle definition and shaping.
I hope this trend sticks around for a while because I am thoroughly enjoying postponing my threading appointments just that little bit longer. Do you have any brow recommendations, I'm always on the hunt for something to keep them in shape?
