The time has come to put on your party shoes and drink and dance away 2014. This has been the most testing year I have ever faced and so I am planning to celebrate the coming year in style. I have my party dress planned (take a look at my recent post if you're still looking for the perfect outfit) and now for the perfect party make up.
I believe that there is no better party look than a bold lip and I have found the perfect red lip. The L'Oreal Colour Riche Red Collection in Juliane's Red is the one. It's bright and very pigmented and most importantly it does not budge, so when the countdown kiss comes there will be no worries about it smudging. I recently wore this for a night out; seven hours and multiple drinks later it was still going strong.
In my rule book, a bold lip calls for a soft eye make up look but it is New Years Eve so we can't completely forgo the glitter. I used a light shimmery champagne shadow, a simple liquid liner flick and some subtle falsies. This lipstick is the star of the show so it really doesn't need much more.
