A few years ago I was completely into meditating and then I just didn't make the time for it anymore. I loved how relaxed but also how focused it allowed me to be and it genuinely helped me enjoy my days more. So today's challenge has prompted me to restart the habit of meditation. I won't necessarily be doing it for 15 minutes everyday but at least a few times a week or 5 minutes a day.

I wish I was organised enough to meditate in the morning so it sets me up to enjoy my day but unfortunately I'm the type of person who sets six alarms and only wakes up at the last possible minute (perhaps a habit this challenge will help me to break). Therefore, I did my meditation in the evening after work.

First I did my daily 'Yoga With Adriene' session (her yoga camp is amazing) and at the end I just laid on the floor in Savansana and did absolutely nothing. I cleared my mind, took some deep breaths and didn't think one single thought. It was wonderful.

I'm the type of person to overthink absolutely everything, so it's often hard for me to just let go and really relax. That's one of the reasons I want to keep this in my routine because it gives me time to just let go of things that I really don't need to be worrying about.
